Building managers can set group messages to require message approvals for moderation. - Archive Group chats
Building Management can archive chats to organise ongoing conversations without permanently deleting them. - Member list managements
Building management can manage group chat members and control the audience for broadcast channels. - Building Management Access
All Building Management users (Account Owners, Admins, and Building Managers) can view, manage, and reply to messages for their assigned building. Regardless of which manager initiates a chat, all Building Managers can view and respond to the conversation under their name, allowing seamless support.
New Channel Types:
Messaging now supports four different channel types for communication:
- Broadcast Channel (1-Way):
Broadcast channels are one-way channels for Building Management to send announcements or essential updates to residents. Residents will receive messages but can not send messages on this channel. This channel supports system-managed User Groups, ensuring the right people get the right messages without manual membership updates. - Group Chat (2-Way):
Group chats are two-way between Building Management and multiple residents or other managers. Building Management can create group chats for general discussions and optionally require message approvals to moderate content. Both parties can share media and files and participate in open discussions. Managers can create group chats with users based on specific criteria. For example, they can choose to create a chat for tenants in Building A on levels 3 and 4 only. Managers can also add and remove members of these groups. - Building Management to Resident Chat (2-Way):
This chat is a two-way, private chat for real-time communication between Building Managers and individual residents. Different managers can view or respond to the chat, ensuring a continuous support chain. Media and file sharing are also supported. - Management Chat (2-Way):
This internal two-way chat allows real-time, direct communication between Building Managers. It is an exclusive portal feature visible only to the managers.
These enhancements will create a more effective and dynamic communication experience, allowing building managers to engage with residents and each other more efficiently while offering better tools for managing chats and maintaining order within discussions. Read more about the
