Steps required to view broadcast and direct messages from residents.
1. Select "Messages" from the Menu Bar:
2. connecX will retrieve any Broadcast channels related to your user and the Messages page will display the channels below.
Selecting a broadcast channel will populate the chat field on the right hand side of the page displaying any historical messages. Messages will show in bold if they have not been read on the current device.
3. To view a direct message channel with a resident select the Direct button. You may see no channels below, this indicates that no messages have been sent between the resident or building manager. If you wish to view a specific user you can start by entering their name into the search and if they exist within your setup they should appear in the list.
You can view the historical messages by selecting the resident channel, similar to the Broadcast channels.
