Overview:
This article explains how Building Managers can reject a facility booking. You can reject a booking that is either in a Pending or Approved status. When rejecting a booking, a rejection reason must be provided. This reason will be visible to the resident in the app and in the rejection email. Residents will be notified via push notification and email when their booking is rejected.
Follow the steps below on how to reject a booking.
Step 1: Starting from the left navigation bar head to Bookings > Facility Bookings
Step 2: Once you are in the Facility Bookings calendar, select the booking which you'd like to reject. Remember it must either be Pending or Approved.
Tip: Use the filters to quickly locate the booking you want to reject
Step 3: With the side modal now open, click the 'Manage' button at the footer.
Step 4: A dropdown menu will appear, with different options on how to manage this booking. The example below is showing a facility that has already be approved. Click 'Reject Booking'
Step 5: Another pop-up modal will appear where you will need to enter a rejection reason. Enter a reason and then click confirm rejection.
The rejection process is now complete, and the booking status has now changed to Rejected. Residents will be notified via push notification and email.
