Overview:
This article covers how a Building manager can create a Facility which can then be booked by a resident through the app or by a building manager through the portal.
How to create a Facility:
Step 1: Starting from the left navigation bar head to Settings > Facility
Step 2: Once you are in the Facility settings page press 'Create Facility' on the righthand corner, which will open up a side modal.
Step 3: With the side modal now open, you can start filling in all the General details for this facility.

Step 4: Set up the availabilities for this facility. Building managers can configure availability for each facility or amenity. Availability can be defined in two ways: Days or Time Slots, depending on the booking needs of your site.
Day-Based Availability
Use Day availability when the facility is available for full-day bookings. This setup is ideal for amenities that can be booked on a per-day basis. Users will only see the option to book for the entire day. No specific start or end time is required.
Time Slot-Based Availability
Use Time Slots when you want to allow bookings within specific hours of the day. You can define either a single time slot or multiple time slots per day (e.g., 7:00 AM–11:00 AM, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM). Each day can have a unique schedule, and you can add or remove time slots as needed. This allows for more granular control over bookings.
Tip: Click copy icon to copy over the time slots of a specific day to other days so you don't need to manually re-enter them
Step 5: Choose to enable or disable bookings for each facility and configure how residents can book.
Use the toggle to allow residents to book the facility via the connecX app. Read this articles for more information booking types
