Residents in locations with SUPA Energy can now manage their energy bills directly through the connecX app, which offers a more convenient way to pay bills and keep track of their payments.

Key Updates:

  1. New Payment Features in the App:
    • On the app's Energy home page, within the "My Energy Dashboard" card, residents with a linked SUPA Energy account will see a new section for an at-a-glance view of your energy account balance and a payment button.
    • A new "Billing Overview" card is introduced at the top of the Bills & Payments page, this card also provides an at-a-glance view of your energy account balance and also a payment button.
  2. Balance Display: When view your energy account balance there are 3 different balance displays:
    • Upcoming balances: Displays future payments that are due.
    • Overdue balances: Highlights overdue payments.
    • Zero balance: Displays the message, "You're all paid up," when no payment is required.

  3. Seamless Payment Experience:
    • Residents can tap a new Pay Now/Make a Payment button to open an in-app browser that leads directly to the SUPA Energy/Utilmate payment page, with the payment amount pre-filled.
    • Payments made through the browser are reflected in the Payments section of the Bills & Payments page in the app.(Note: the payments may not be reflected immediately).

  4. Consistent Design:
    • The payment experience mirrors the design of the My SUPA Energy online portal, ensuring familiarity while providing a streamlined, app-based option for making payments.

This integration enhances usability and gives residents an additional, hassle-free way to pay their bills.
