We’ve continued to refine the messaging experience for residents using the app. This update introduces meaningful improvements and resolves specific issues discovered since the new messaging system was released in October, ensuring seamless communication and a more intuitive interface.
Key Improvements
1. Multiple Images Messaging: Sending multiple images in a single message is now more streamlined, and the UI has been revamped to provide a better user experience.
2. Replies to Media: Replying to a file or media message with another file or media now displays more cohesively, making conversations easier to follow.
3. Building Management Chat Members
A Building Management Group now displays within a resident's Building Management chat member's list. This will inform residents that this chat is between themselves and building management, not just one particular BM.
Resolutions
1. Archived Chats: Chats archived in the portal now automatically move to the app's archive list. Additionally, archived users are seamlessly removed from active broadcast channels.
2. Chat Details Panel: Media and files shared within a chat now appear consistently in the information panel, ensuring important attachments are always accessible.
