We're excited to introduce new updates to the app's messaging feature, designed to make communication between residents and building management more efficient and interactive. Read below for all the new key features and please familiarise yourself all our new messaging knowledge articles for the app.

Key Features:

  • Multimedia Sharing
    Residents can now share and receive URLs, photos and documents with building management, enabling them to exchange vital information.

  • Interactive Messaging
    Residents can edit/delete recently sent messages, see when other members have seen them, and reply directly to specific messages. This update helps keep their conversations clear and engaging.

  • View Members list
    Residents can view the members of group chats and see who's included in broadcast channels, but only building management handles member changes and controls the audience for broadcasts.

  • View archived group chats:
    Building Management can archive chats, which residents can find in a new section called 'Archived Group Chats' in the right-hand corner of messages.

New Messaging Channels:

  • Broadcast Channel (1-Way)
    In this channel, residents will receive announcements directly from building management. Since this channel is one-way, residents will not be able to respond directly.

  • Group Chat (2-Way)
    Residents can participate in group chats with other residents and building management for real-time discussions. 

  • Resident Chat with Management (2-Way)
    Residents can enjoy direct communication with building managers, who can assist them in real time. 

How to Access: Messages have been moved to the top right corner next to Settings.
