Overview

Inspection templates as the name would suggest is for creating empty templates for inspections to follow / be based on. You can add the sections, the tasks and the titles of both to the template. A template can later be edited, which will not affect any templates using that template, or archived, which will prevent this template from being chosen in the inspections page. Archiving can be reversed at any time.

How To

You will find Inspection Templates in the General Settings section of settings page:

Your page should look like this, the default sorting of the list is Date Created (newest) and then by Template Name (alphabetical). So new templates should appear at the top, unless you have already made a few templates that day, and then it'll be in that group located by its name.

The number of rows on a page, the currently viewed page, and fullscreen on/off can be controlled in the top right:

Refresh data (tooltip shown), global table search and the New Template button can be found in the top left:

Filtering and sorting by column can be done with the two icons next to a column title. If you would like to sort by more than one column at a time, hold shift while clicking the sort button (left). Holding shift does not need to be done with column filtering(right).

Add New Inspection Template

Upon clicking the New Template button in the top left, on the right a drawer will open, showing a form, if in mobile view it will be fullscreen.

New Sections can be added with the button, and new tasks can be added with the + icon in a section header.

Sections and Tasks can be removed with the trash icon:
Fill in the form and press save:

The new template will appear in the list after a short delay:

Edit Inspection Template:
To edit an inspection template, just click on the row in the list and you will be shown the edit form, which behaves the same as the add template form:

Archive / Activate Template
This can be done either by the edit form shown above, or by clicking the action icon on the right of the list, to see archived templates, you will need to add them to the filter for the status column (shown), or disable the filtering of that column, the result is the same.
