Maintenance Requests created by/for tenants in the app or portal are converted to work orders once approved in the portal. When a maintenance request is set to “approved” in the status section, a work order is created in the system. The work order is populated from the maintenance request with additional detail being added in the work order section.



1. Create a new maintenance request by pressing the New button or selecting an existing maintenance request from the list


2. Upon clicking on the New button or an existing maintenance request, a modal will pop up on the side. 



3. Scroll down to the work order information section


4. Select "Yes" from the create work order dropdown


5. Select the necessary information for the work order



6. Make sure to change the status to Approved if you are targeting an existing maintenance request


7. Press the Save button at the bottom
